Volunteer Guidelines
ARRIVAL
Arrive by 8:30 am and check-in at the front desk. A board member will meet new volunteers and provide a brief orientation. Volunteers finish just after 11:00 am.
Parking
Park behind the pantry, in the parking area behind the building to the left. Do not park in front of the building.
FACE MASK
The Massachusetts Department of Public Health strongly encourages face masks for any person who has not received the COVID-19 vaccine.
DRESS APPROPRIATELY
WFP volunteers spend a good amount of the time on their feet and outdoors. Please check the weather, dress appropriately for outdoor conditions, and wear closed-toe, comfortable shoes. NO sandals or flip flops.
FORMS
Bring forms needing signatures for community service credit when you come to volunteer.
FRIENDS AND FAMILY
New volunteers are always welcome! Must be in 9th Grade or older.
VALUABLES
Please leave all valuables at home or locked in your vehicle. We do not have a place to secure personal items.
DISCRETION
The confidentiality of our recipients is of the utmost importance. Thank you for respecting their privacy at all times.
FINALLY
Please stay home and take care of yourself if you are not feeling well. We will be extra excited to see you at future volunteering opportunities.
